Welcome to the International Student Ministries of New Zealand (ISMNZ).

Founded on 6 January 2000, ISMNZ was established during a season of rapid growth, as international student enrolments in New Zealand climbed from the thousands into the tens of thousands.

Every year, approximately 100,000 international students leave their homes and families to study in our country. Many have never heard the Gospel and often come from regions where traditional missionary work is restricted. We believe we have been given a unique opportunity to bridge that gap and share the love of Christ with them.

In partnership with churches, educational institutions, and community organizations, our staff and volunteers care for the hauora (holistic well-being) of these students. We provide genuine friendship, spiritual support, and mentoring.
